Video Complications with Radeon 3870

Hello Everyone,

This will be another attempt at linux. Every year I try linux at Christmas time (except last year) or at least I have been for the last five or so years. Anyways I'm almost off windows mostly (save for a few games like L4D) or at least I hope to be with a little help. I have a MSI Radeon 3870 HD card running two monitors. I can get the maximum display of my flat screen to be produced (1440x900), but the second monitor sits black. I have some screen shots of some stuff that I'll add in as soon as I boot in windows because photobucket for whatever reason won't let me upload from here. Anyways here are my problems followed by the konsole info I have on hand and my x.conf. I'm running kubuntu 8.10 and I have 2.0 GB DDR2 Ram, 3.01GHz Dual core AMD 64 bit processor, 500 GB HD, and 650 Watt power supply.

Problems:
1) Videos flash when watching in Dragon Player
2) 3D rendering is simply missing
3) My Second Monitor is simply black, yet the mouse can venture to it but it becomes an "x" cursor and I can't interact with the second Monitor

xorg.conf

Code:
# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# Note that some configuration settings that could be done previously
# in this file, now are automatically configured by the server and settings
# here are ignored.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

In regards to the first image if I "activate" the driver it either deactivates or simply greys out. The third image is showing Kubuntu not knowing there is a second screen. The last three are of course the images of WoW and why I need this to work. Please help me.

New xorg.conf

Well I thought I'd try a new xorg - the number of modules seemed low and also I read that I should have video texturing on somewhere in my xorg so I did it. It made no difference. I'm still sitting here with a practically dead second monitor and my videos are flashing still. Below is my new xorg code. Please let me know if you see anything that need editing. Thanks so much for any help.

Code:
# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)

# values from the debconf database.

# (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# Th#Section "Screen"
#	Identifier "Default Screen"
#	Device "Configured Video Device"
#	Monitor "Configured Monitor"
#	DefaultDepth	24

Unhappy

So does anyone know what I should .... where I should look ... any help is appreciated. I'm a little noobie so it is very possible that I have over looked something that others would consider obvious. Please please help me.
