Video card upgrade on an old computer

I have this 200mmx, and I'm trying to turn it into a usable machine. It has an integrated s3 trio 2mb video card. I can buy a 4mb trident from someone for like $3. Would it give me any significant performance improvement in web browsing and such under linux? (scrolling, etc.)

Thanks

Web browsing, probably not. But it would let you get higher resolutions. In games, it would also help, but for most casual things, you probably wouldn't notice a difference. If you want to, try a GeForce card, they are decent PCI cards. I have used a Gefroce 4 MX 440 64MB PCI, and it works well.
