USB Razer mouse freeze in Debian

hey...

I just booted gnome, and after a while my mouse doesnt work any more. It is still lit up, so it is connected in some way...
I heard something about a config setting... maybe to give the usb device more power...?
I would appreciate any help that anyone could offer.

The fact that the mouse lights up when moved does NOT indicate that it is necessarily being read by the computer.

Is your X server configured to use USB mice?
