USB mouse x, y data read


Hello every one, i just want to know, if i connect an USB mouse to port, where can i get the x, y raw information to read and use the same data for my own application, or please suggest me some site links to go through, so that i can refer the same and get solved from this problem, awaiting for your valuable information Thank you

xev will get you some coordinates for mouse movement. You'll have to do some fairly hefty parsing to get just x and y, but it should be relatively straightforward.
