USB keyboard is situated under unknown


I have a USB genius laptop keyboard that i need to get running properly under linux.
The keyboard works but is listed under my system hardware as unknown

would i need to download a usb rpm to get this working correcty

any help is appriciated.

running mandrake 9.2
USB dual optical mouse
& Keyboard
