USB Key freeze
I just bought a new USB Key drive - the Lexar 128mb Secure JumpDrive. I also just discovered the magic of supermount :-) Here's the line in my /etc/fstab:
/mnt/Key /mnt/Key supermount fs=vfat,dev=/dev/scsi/host2/bus0/target0/lun0/part1,rw,--,gid=410 0 0
I insert the Key, and mount it in a shell - all's good. Then I tried to run a program on the drive and the entire machine froze - I've only ever had that happen once before, and that was with a broken hard drive connected through USB. I'm using the Intel D865PERL Motherboard, Gentoo Linux with 2.4.22-gentoo-r5, usb-storage ehci-hcd uhci usbcore (loaded as modules, at least when i ran lsmod), and the key is still formatted as vfat.
I have no clue what's going on - I'm going to try directly mounting it and seeing what happens - hopefully no lockups :-/ Anyone have any idea?
Thanks
