Usb-hid
i tryed to do a modprobe usb-hid and it tells me it cannot locate module usb-hid do i need to recompile a new kernel I am currently using Redhat 9 or is there another way to get this kernel to support this command I this is a fresh install where i have nothing else on it or is there a program i can download to help me find my game controler that is pluged in via usb

I'm thinking you got the module name wrong. There is no module by that name ("usb-hid") on my systems either. Try just "hid".
