my solid HDD is now broken and I want to buy a new HDD for my computer, but im thinking of buy a usb HDD to use it instead and install linux on it, my question is (is this usb HDD good for working 24/7 heavy duty work ?) coz I use the home computer to download things and such and leave it open for so long
I'd guess that the usb part of the gizmo may create additional problems. But, many people use usb hard drives all day and night.
I'd put in an internal myself.
The problem is that I want to use this usb HDD on the go (at work & in travailing) so I will buy one for more than one use, im afraid that If i used it days and nights it will fail fast !!
