I am looking at buying a USB 2 PCI card for my machine.
I read that the 2.6 kernel has usb 2 support built in. Does that mean that pretty much any PCI card I buy will work if I am using a 2.6 kernel, or do have to use a card that has drivers for linux?
If so does anyone have reccomendadions.

hi , I have bit solution for u but consider that am newbie. Yes i hope kernel 2.6 supports USB 2.0 standards but you have to install host controller driver for your PCI card, like EHCI-HCD should be installed, which is already present in kernel 2.6 as module but may not be installed.
