Just got a ECS GeForce6100PM-M2(V3.0) motherboard and AMD x2 245 chip. Mostly have everything working with ubuntu karmic (having a few suspend issues, but haven't looked into yet). i'm not able to use the usb pinouts on the board though--i get no power out of them. i've tried mucking with the bios and jumper pins without success. the rear onboard usb ports work fine. anybody know of any special tricks to get this working, or do i have a defective board? btw, the pinouts didn't work out of the box when i tried to boot from a usb drive...

the rear usb connectors are usually soldered directly on the mobo. All other usb connectors are usually wired to the mobo. So check the wiring from mobo to the affected usb connectors. Hope this helps.
