Unable to connect Kindle paperwhite to Linux Mint 20 machine
I have connected this device a few months ago, now it doesn't get recognised. Classic info, nothing has changed since it worked, same Kindle Paperwhite, Same Linux Mint 20 machine, Same USB cable but now it doesn't show up as a drive.
Maybe I did something that I've forgotten, but ddg and Amazon hasn't revealed anything I'm missing
Update
I think all my micro usb cables are for charging only, I've connected Sony NW-E394 mp3 player, it show's its charging but no connection to see whats on the flash drive. Now I know for sure I copied a load of mp3 files to it, I can see and play them.
I've ordered a data sync cable to see how that works.
BTW I've checked the logs, dmesg. lsusb and nothing shows up.
