I am posting it here cuz i got servile questions. 1 of them is hardware.
1. I have a readon at1 9200 256mb card. I went and dl the sofware 4 it but 4 some reason it does not work now i have worse graphics.
2. I have been racking by brain trying to get the .avi .mpg files to run using every methood I have seen here. and on google, i tryed to install totem, but i get this when I type it.. says i do not have the right codecs installd mplayer the same i went and dl the codecs in put them in /usr/local/lib/codecs/ as per the instructions of the read me it also after the /usr/local/lib/codecs/ it gives this ($prefix/lib/codecs/) this i do not understand.
3 I cant find out what type of ubuntu i have how do i do that.
I am dling the newest now but it is taking a long time it should not cuz i got 1.5mbps connection. well i used the wget on shell but I am still not going fast like i should I know that it alos depends on the place i am dling from but it shoud not be going at 29kbps that is to slow....
