Twinview font size...

Hi,

I hope this the right forum...

I have recently managed to get my GeForce4 440 Go working with the NVIDIA drivers and twinview outputting to an external CRT and my laptop's DFP. I have it configure such that my laptop's DFP is above my external CRT (the 'primary' display) and then the desktop is extended across them. This is all working perfectly except for one thing. Since I've introduced this second monitor and used twinview in any mode other than 'clone', the font sizes on certain applications have become stupidly large, for example in KMail, the text of e-mails appears grossly outsized and no amount of changing the font sizes in the configure KMail menu helps. This is also the case with my MSN client aMSN, but here it occurs with all fonts apart from the text of actual chats, i.e. it occurs on all of the menus etc.

Oh yeah I'm using BlackBox as my window manager and am on Mandrake 9.2.

Here is a screenshot of my KMail window and some aMSN windows so you can see what I'm talking about (I've used a spam message as an example) (BTW this also happens with Konqueror and some other apps):

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Richard Hayden.
