Trouble with Promise onboard and graphic

Hello,

i've got a problem! I just wanted to change to SuSE Linux 8.2 Prof.

I tried to install it by the CDs. But the first problem was the Promise onboard controller. It didn't work. But then i read the Threads and found out to create a boot and modules disk. So long everything was ok!

I started the installation by floppy. I was able to see GRUB! But after GRUB i couldn't see anything. Only some pieces of graphic.

How can i manage this problem to install Linux correct?

My System is:

Asus P4PE (with Promise onboard)
2.5 GHZ CPU
1 GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti4200 (8x AGP)
2x HDD 120GB (Raid) <- Boot from here (Windows XP as second System)
1 HDD 60GB (IDE)

If you need some more information just ask. I'd be happy for some answers!

new information:
i tried an installation with the option vga=0.
The installation seemed to work fine, but Suse Linux 8.2 didn't recognized my 2 Harddrives (Sata) in the raid array (promise) only my ide harddrive :-(
what can i do? i already loaded a module disk with drivers for the promise controller.
what is wrong?
