Suse 9.2 freezes up after installing nvidia drivers - can still shift mouse around

I have an old geforce fx5500 nvidia card and I have followed the instructions on how to install it by closing down x (init 3) and typing in SaX2 -m 0=nvidia once the driver has been installed.

I can only use my other computer with suse 9.2 installed on it for a couple of minutes before it freezes up.

If anyone can help please do because I am a linux newbie!!!

Here is my XORG.CONF file:

Some suggestions:
-Coult try to revert temporarily to the open source nvidia driver "nv"
Sax2 -m 0=nv
(that will change Driver to "nv" in the above bit.)

-Perhaps try installing other version of the nvidia driver, since the current doesn't play nice.. (older/newer)

-Perhaps upgrade SUSE?
