SuSE 9.2 & Audigy 2...

I've installed suse 9.2 and the only problem i encountered is that i have no sound at all...alsa is installed along with the OS, and i've tried mp3s, cd audio but nothing... i also tried to log on as root just in case the other user wasn't a member of the audio group but nothing...what should i do??
i'm using KDE in suse and have tried with amaroK and KMix the above...
any ideas??

I'm running 9.2 with an Audigy sound card and it works great. Did you set up your sound when you installed 9.2 ? And did you check for an analog/digital setting somewhere in soundcard config ?

Trying to help ......
