Sun Microsystem 13w3 vs. PCI vga

I have a Sun Ultra 60 workstation, and I would like to install Debian (testing) upon it; however, I am having some trouble getting the video to properly function. I do not have access to a Sun monitor (nor a 13w3->VGA converter), so I inserted a known working PCI video card into the workstation. Debian sees the video card; it auto-detected it when I reinstalled the OS. The X.org configuration file is set properly, but for some strange reason unbeknownst to me, it still insists upon displaying from the Sun's video card and not the PCI I inserted.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to get Debian to override the default Sun video card and display out of a PCI (VGA) video card?
