Soundcard trouble in Mandrake 9.2

I just installed Mandrake 9.2 and I can't get my soundcard working. When I run sounddrake in the Mandrake Control Center, it lists two soundcards. In Redhat 9 and Mandrake 9.1 I was able to disable this SiS soundcard so I could use the Soundblaster but I can't find that option anywhere. Any ideas?

Results of /sbin/lspci are as follows:
00:00.0 Host bridge: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 735 Host (rev 01)
00:01.0 PCI bridge: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] SiS 530 Virtual PCI-to-PCI bridge (AGP)
00:02.0 ISA bridge: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 85C503/5513
00:02.2 USB Controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] USB 1.0 Controller (rev 07)
00:02.3 USB Controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] USB 1.0 Controller (rev 07)
00:02.5 IDE interface: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 5513 [IDE] (rev d0)
00:02.7 Multimedia audio controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] Sound Controller (rev a0)
00:03.0 Ethernet controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] SiS900 10/100 Ethernet (rev 90)
00:0b.0 Multimedia audio controller: Ensoniq ES1371 [AudioPCI-97] (rev 08)
00:0d.0 Ethernet controller: D-Link System Inc RTL8139 Ethernet (rev 10)
00:0f.0 USB Controller: OPTi Inc. 82C861 (rev 10)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV11DDR [GeForce2 MX 100 DDR/200 DDR] (rev b2)

I'm not sure of the kernel version that I have. 2.4 sound right? But it's a 2-week-old Mandrake 9.2 download.

I don't get any errors or anything upon startup or when trying to run something with sound. I just don't have any sound. I've checked all of the obvious things, such as speakers being turned up and the system volume being turned up.

Thanks for any suggestions!

when i run kmix, i get this:

ERROR: kmix: Mixer cannot be found.
Please check that the soundcard is installed and that
the soundcard driver is loaded.

The only media apps that I've used since installing are Totem Movie and Media Player ... the sound events for the OS don't work either.
