Sound works, with several errors

I just can't figure how it worked. After a few tries, I got my sound card to work (AC97, from nvidia chipset abit AN7 mobo). But several strange errors are occurring.
First, while initializing, more than 10 errors from modprobe and insmod failing to find sound drivers.
I keep getting messages from nowhere I know from, that "audio_alsa: no cards found". ALSA config mixer and tools don't work.
In spite of all that, I'm now listening to my mp3 at xmms. This seems buggy.
Any hints?

There is also something strange: I saw on forums lots of problems solved editing modules.conf, but mine seems to be empty!

Yesterday, when I ran the alsaconfig (or something like that) and now the alsamixer is working (i had to unmute the channels), and the sound still works. Haven't seen the "no cards found" problem, only "ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1055(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p failed: Permission denied"
Still many error on initalization, even more then before. And correction, my mobo is NF7-S
And... how to copy from bash? The lsmod I got from /dev/modules I opened on firefox....
My full dmesg result is at
http://www.linux.ime.usp.br/~lundberg/dmesg.txt

Those dmesg lines doesn't really look too much like errors to me! Just looks like for some reason the module is getting initialised over and over.

>how to copy from bash?
By using a terminal emulator with copy&paste, like gnome-terminal or konsole.

So everything's working properly now, just with the odd messages? When exactly does this "Permission Denied" message come up?

The "permission denied" message comes only once, after the first licq loading... must have something to do with my sound configs (no sounds). But it doesn't matter.
The modules being initialized several times is the problem! It takes ages to finish! Where is the sequence of modules it loads? I read all the rc.* to find it, and I always get references to modules.conf. But mine is empty!
