sound problem when used with battery

I've a Mandrake 9.2 installed on my Dell Inspiron 8600 with a sound card i810.
When I am connected to sector, I haven't problem of sound but when I use battery I've big problems !!!
I've the message "couldn't open /dev/sound/mixer" and when I try to play music it is accelerated !!
In this case I must reboot and then all is OK...

So why I've the problem as soon as I use battery ???

This is my /etc/modules.conf :

Code:
alias sound-slot-0 i810_audio

probeall scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi
alias ieee1394-controller ohci1394
alias /dev/nvidia* nvidia
probeall usb-interface usb-uhci ehci-hcd
alias eth0 bcm4400
alias autofs autofs4
options NVdriver NVreg_EnableAGPSBA=0 NVreg_EnableAGPFW=0
above snd-intel8x0 snd-pcm-oss
