I a extremely new to using Linux. This is the first time I have tried installing the operating system and know very little about it. Trying to learn as I go. I have a sony V505ACP with the built in wireless adapter. I have been searching all over the the linux community web sites and found information on using a patched orinoco driver. The problem is I have no idea of how to install this or what to do with the driver. Could anyone point me to a step by step instruction to0 get this wireless card to work?
I have found all the info at linux-laptop.net but it doesn't provide a newbie like me with enough info.
