Sometimes BCM5705M, sometimes BCM5705M_2 detected, what's the difference ?

Hi all,

Sometimes Fedora 7 detects ethernet card of my laptop (HP Compaq nx6120) as Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5705M Gigabit Ethernet, but some other times it detects as Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5705M_2 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 03).

When detecting as the 1st one I'm unable to connect to internet since I even can't ping the gateway, but on 2nd I have no problem connecting to internet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Setya
