slow gprs through sonyericsson j300i

hai, I am newbie..... I tried configuring gprs over my sony ericsson j300i mobile phone.... but unfortunately iam only getting a speed of sub 1k. I use debian 3.1. It used work fine in my knoppix 3.3 but i am having problems with debian. I tried scipts, GPRS easy connect, but they dont seem to work..... Please tell me a solution

there's an option called "Baud=" in the wvdial.conf in /etc/bin..... this is if you're using wvdial script to dial. The speed is limited there.

I have set Baud = 115200 and I'm getting the max speed in linux as i can.

sorry, the wvdial.conf is in /etc and not /etc/bin as i said earlier

its me again... the baud did'nt work either.... is there anything else you have in mind.....
