slackware install, b44 not supported.

I try to install slackware using the 1.44 megs disks, and I'd like to use the nfs install.
theres is only 1 problem: I have the broadcom 4401 NIC and that NIC is not supported on the slackware network.dsk. The module that i need is the b44 module but I don't know how I can load the module while installing slackware.
Maybe I can make my own alternative network.dsk? but how....
