At first, maybe try Slackware 13.37 as 13.1 is quite outdated by now.

You can always try another kernel, if the one you use is not working (fnic: FCoE HBA Driver is a fiberchannel driver I doubt a laptop would need this)

Why does it only accept Windows XP ?

Please provide more info

Question

OK.

I couldn't find the another site in English.
My Notebook: http://dynabook.com/pc/catalog/dynab...e7/index_j.htm

fnic: FCoE HBA Driver, ver 1.0.0.1121
Driver FCoE HBA:http://lwn.net/Articles/321399/

My notebook accepts Windows XP Japanese only. I tried the another Windows but doesn't work.

I tried 13.1 or 13.37. I found the same error(fnic: FCoE HBA Driver, ver 1.0.0.1121).
I don't have problem with Slax but I cannot install slax with xfs.

Here, i Don't have CD-ROM and I cannot install with Flash drive.
I cannot change my BIOS because is limited. I can change date and time only.

I have my PC with USB(IDE/SATA) cable to access my HD.
I have 2 partitions:

The first is SlackUSB(boot).
The second is xfs(i want to install slack here).

I tried several distro, I found the same problem.
Slax is good but I cannot change the file system.
vfat is not safe, i lost data with slax.
