Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Shuttle AK32A

Has anyone used successfully run RH 9 on a shuttle AK32A motherboard? I'm thinking of building a new linux box using it.

I have some PC133 RAM, and an old CD drive sitting around. I figure if I get a case and an athlon, it will make a decent box. I'm not looking for anything super fancy, and this board seems like a good deal.

Taking a look at the spec sheet, its a normal VIA 226A chipset, normal IDE controller, which means a VIA AGP slot, dunno about the sound because they neglect to mention the chipset so odds are something easy like a c-media or a realtek, no onboard NIC to sweat... yeah its front to back standard components, covered by anything going back to around kernel 2.4.17-ish.

Cheers,
