Question sata hard drives and tft screens

Hello.
I am getting a new computer and would like to know if i use a sata drive instead of
the usual ide to duel boot xp and rh9 will there additional setup? Is sata just a faster
ide drive? Do I need to just plug it in, partition it and away I go?

Also would loke to get a tft monitor with it. Do they all work ok or are there makes I should avoid??

regards,

Rossco

I did get a samsung syncmaster 191t, a TFTscreen and it works just fine

And, be sure to read some about xp and linux dual booting...some work to do...nto hard...
good luck
