Question Receipt Printers Compatible.


Hi my friends.

We want to use POS printers or thermal printers, like the ones u find in a restaurant.

This project will need about 10 and we are locking around to see which ones are 100% linux compatible USB preference.

U know a good printers that really works with Linux Ubuntu/Centos?

It seems from just searching that EPSON and Star Micronics is the only one that have PoS printers that works in Linux. I have not work with this type of printer.

Hi electro.

Yes, in barcodesinc they told me that the star micronics are linux compatible, I just waiting to get the first one.

I'm surprised to see people looking for Linux-compatible POS/thermal printers. Did you find what you were after?

Well I just waiting the first one and see if is compatible 100%, this the one barcodesinc recommend me:
