reboot and restart problem Fedora

Hello All Great Master!!

I need some help with my linux box, I have Netfinity 3500 server which i install Fedora on it, when i try to reboot by ssh or even on the machine it doesn't want to come back up. Ok here so informaiton i can give up
updated to the news updates. during the shutdown everything is fine and system halt appear then disapper then the screen goes black, and the hard drive is on. It doesn't reboot and the hard drive stay on.

I had similar problem on a Compaq Deskpro EN Series SFF Series 6400/6.4 UK, ROM 686T5 version 06/30/98. Upgraded to ROM version 08/21/99 and it worked perfect.
If it's not ROM problem you might want to search for apm, acpi and halt or shutdown.

do you mean to update the BIOS by word Rom?
