Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

reading SVAG output

Hi group,

I am researching a project that requires an interface to capture the SVGA output from a computer and process it and output that to a display. So I'm looking for the hardware I need to capture the data. I'm a software type not hardware.

Any one know of such an interface and how powerful of a CPU do I need to keep up with the SVGA output? Would a Raspberry Pi work?

Thanks for your time.
