Problem with NEC 1560M LCD

I recently purchased NEC 1560M LCD.

On RedHat 8.0, in the graphic mode, I keeep getting the following message:

1 D - SUB
OUT OF RANGE

Here are the specifications in monitor's manual:

Response time: 30 ms
Brightness: 300 cd/m2
Input signals: Analog, Digital
Input connector/cable: DVI-D and VGA 15 pin D-Sub
Maximum noninterlaced resolution: 1024 x 768
Horizontal frequency: 31.5 - 60 kHz
Vertical frequency: 56.2 - 75.1 Hz

Here is the monitor entry from /etc/X11/XF8611Config:

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
ModelName "NEC LCD1560M"
HorizSync 31.5 - 60.0
VertRefresh 56.2 - 75.1
Option "dpms"
EndSection

The resolution is set to 1024 x 768.

Please help me... I can't get rid of the "OUT OF RANGE" error.

Thanks!!

Though I'm a few days late to your thread, I'd say that you'll need to provide information about your video card if you're to get any help on this.

Also, the other relevant portions of your xorg.conf/XF86Config file (regarding the video card) might be helpful too.

VendorName "Intel 845"
BoardName "Intel 845"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen0"
Device "Intel 845"
Monitor "Minitor0"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
EndSection

Thanks!!
