ok, i google abit and several thread suggest selinux might be the problem. So i reinstalled it with sellinux disable. I got the following error message at boot up:

--------------------------------------
iteraid:version magic '2.6.9_1.667 586 REGPARM 4KSTACKS gcc-3.4' should be '2.6.9_1.667 686 REGPARM 4STACKS gcc-3.4'

insmod:error inserting '/lib/iteraid.ko': -I invalid moudle format
Error:/bin/insmod exited abnormally!
mkroot dev label / not found

mount: error 2 mounting ext3
mount: error 2 mounting none
switchroot: mount failed :22
umount /initrd/dev fail:2

kernel panic -not syncing:attempt to kill Init !
----------------------------------------

I guess its all come to the driver issue. So i try to compile the source file , but there are error for almost eveyone line of Makefile. Can someone help me with it? Or point me to where i can get some basic of compiling device driver. Its written in C..

--------makefile content-------------
KERNEL_SRC = /usr/src/linux-2.6.1

EXTRA_FLAGS += -I.

EXTRA_FLAGS += -Wno-cast-qual -Wno-strict-prototypes

obj-m += iteraid.o

iteraid-obj := iteraid.o

modules:
$(MAKE) -C $(KERNEL_SRC) SUBDIRS=$(PWD) modules

clean:
rm -rf iteraid.o iteraid.ko iteraid.mod.o iteraid.mod.c *~

---------------------------------------------

still didn't get it compile But fedora core4 seems to have it into kernel already. So if anyone got the same problem with fedora c3 , just use c4 to save the hassle..
