Ever since I upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 my Open Office Word Processor and Document Viewer (pdf) documents print in a tiny font in the corner of the page. I cannot get normal size printing whatever I do with the printer prerences. I have to save as html, load into Firefox and print from there. Any suggestions??
Sounds like your printer setup in OO is for bus tickets. From the help
To access this command...
Choose File - Printer Settings
Choose File - Templates - Organize - Commands (button)- Printer Settings
Thanks. But, unless your instructions are incomplete, this changes nothing. I set the printer to print letter size but still got a bus ticket. I'd been wondering if this was a new bug in 9.04 because I never experienced it before. I am eagerly awaiting the 9.10 release at the end of the month, hoping it will be fixed there.....
I printed for years with a Epson C70 for years and all went fine. I would next try closing OO. There is this thing called spadmin, which does a bit of this, and I would remove the printer there, close it, reopen it and try to get it to let cups do the thinking.
