[SOLVED] Printer Driver in HP not working

Hi, I have a HP 3632 powered up all plugged in, new ink, and HPLIP also I noticed CUPS, and my document will not print. I see no print cue, no sign of response in my printer. Test page printed but there is no sign of connection to my Mint Desktop. My computer is a Lenovo Think Centre. Connected by USB.

Some questions and diagnostic steps...

1) What kind of document are you trying to print? Application?

2) With the printer connected and turned on, what is reported by the following?

lpstat -t

3) Did you check the CUPS error log yet? Any errors reported?

cat /var/log/cups/error_log

4) If you print to file first, then attempt to print that PDF document, is the print job successful?

5) You could also run the HLIP diagnostic utility...

Novation,

In Mint:

Menu > All > Printers, what is shown in the Printers folder?

Is it HP 3632 or empty?

Any warnings shown?
