Since the log suggests that you may have a problem with your RAM I would recommend to test your RAM (using Memtest86+) and to check the if the settings in the BIOS are the ones recommended for your RAM.

If you're not loaded with the full compliment of DIMMs, I'd check that they're fitted in valid slots. You can check this against the system part location sticker on the inside of the BL460 lid. You don't mention which generation of BL460 you have. Please note that the DIMMs will differ between G1s, G2s, etc, and will have different Part Nos. They shouldn't be mixed.

You may be able to use HP's SmartStart Diagnostics, either from CD via a virtual drive set up in a laptop connected via the front panel dongle or they can be loaded onto a 4Gb USB key drive and again, run via the front panel dongle. HP have a free app to convert between CD and USB drive. You'd also have to connect a keyboard, mouse and screen to the dongle in the latter senario (OK, so there's only 2 USB ports on the dongle, you may get away with just the mouse and USB drive.)

Hope some of that's usefull.

Play Bonny!
