Please help with laser b&w printers compatibility

Hello,

I would like to purchase a new b & w laser printer that would be ... compatible with linux. I had a bad experience with a CANON and I am anxious to avoid that in the future. :-(

I would be interested in knowing which printers are compatibles with linux and which gave you satisfaction in a more general sense.

I have below a list of printers availables for me from the local shop:

The site www.linuxprinting.org is a very good reference for anyone thinking of buying a printer.

It has specific recommendations for b/w laser printers. I haven't checked for a while, but most Brother lasers seem to have good support, while some low-end HP lasers may not be so good. I've used a cheap Samsung successfully, but that wasn't on your list.
