Pct 789 chipset modem driver

Well I had Red Hat Linux 7.2 earlier and I installed the pctel-0.9.4

driver and it got compiled and I was able to use my modem, but after

upgrading to Red Hat 9, I compiled the same driver and I could not make

the modules. I downloaded the driver from the site
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pctel-linux/
I have included Attachments about the output of messages during

compiling.

the 'messages.zip' contains the following:
Ins.txt - contains the instructions for compiling the driver.
1.txt - the output of the command './configure -with-hal=pct789'
2.txt - the output of the command 'make'
3.txt - the output of the command 'make install'
4.txt - the output of the command 'insmod pctel'
5.txt - the output of the command 'insmod ptserial'

I think these details would be enough, kindly guide me what to do?
