pci express card with old computer?

I just bought a pci express card without knowing that it is not compatible with the general pci slot i have on my desktop pc.

Are newer desktop supporting this pci type? Can I use this card with my desktop? Is there an adapter avaiable?

Here is the link to card similar to what I have.

No - PCIE works only with PCIE slots.

Sorry, but PCIE is a new standard and most old computers do not support it. Either return the card or buy a new mobo.

I heard a Japanese company made some, but I can no longer find it. Try googling it. I personally don't think it's plausible, the opposite is plausible, but not this.
