Partition troubles

PROBLEM:
Im very new to linux and partitions and of course I think i messed my harddrive up. When i went to put mandrake 9.2 on i did a partition in windows using partition magic. I made this partition Fat32, Drive: H. Then I rebopoted and installed linux on it. Now that im having too much trouble with mandrake I want to take it off and put the remove the linux partiton and get it back to H: or join it up with C:

I TRIED:
- fdisk /mbr this just made the situation worse
- i tired puting in windowsxp cd and using rescue. windows will not boot off the cd for some reason.

Been Told to:
Remove linux and partition while in linux ( have not a clue how )

Please help me out here my harddrive is a mess cause of all this.
thanks

First of all, you can resize partitions through the Mandrake GUI. The best idea is to make a partition for / and /home. Use ext3, because it is much more restistant to problems caused by incorrect shutdowns and things of that nature. Basically, reinstall Mandrake 9.2 and totally format the drive because that's the only thing that I know of that can be done at this point.
