Pacific Digital 16x10x40 usb cdrw is not recognized

Hello,
I have been having a hard time getting my computer to recognize my usb cdrw by Pacific Digital. It is a usb2 device but I have a intel i810 chipset with built in usb ports that use usb1.1. This device works fine under windows, so please dont make me have to reboot to burn cd's, help!!! I am using Fedora Core(1.92) kernel-2.6.5-1.358, I keep everything updated. So here are some logs from /var/log/messages when i disconnect the reconnect:

May 16 22:50:21 dhcppc2 kernel: usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 3
May 16 22:50:30 dhcppc2 kernel: usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using address 4

Here is the printout from cdrecord -scanbus:

Where the Removable CD-Rom i think is my built in cd-rom, NOT the usb one.

Here is the printout from /sbin/lsusb:

I can read cd's with this cdrw but it is not recognized as a cd writer. The mount point is /mnt/cdrom1, the dev is /dev/cdrom1. When I mount a cd with the cdrw a new device is shown under mounted devices, it is:
/dev/scd0 with a mount point of /mnt/cdrom1

Oh and more infor if needed:
Under the Info Center --> SCSI section, this is listed:
Attached devices:
Host: scsi2 Channel: 00 ld: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: CDWRITER Model: IDE1610 Rev: 0.20
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If anything is unclear, just let me know,

Thanks,
Paul J

i got it.!!!!

haha everytime i open up mozilla and view the release notes the answer was staring at me right in the face. apparently in the new kernel instead of saying cdrecord -dev=0,0,0 all you have to say is cdrecord -dev=device where device can be /dev/scd0 or whatever it is..../dev/hd?
Works perfectly
