Hello,
I have been having a hard time getting my computer to recognize my usb cdrw by Pacific Digital. It is a usb2 device but I have a intel i810 chipset with built in usb ports that use usb1.1. This device works fine under windows, so please dont make me have to reboot to burn cd's, help!!!
I am using Fedora Core(1.92) kernel-2.6.5-1.358, I keep everything updated. So here are some logs from /var/log/messages when i disconnect the reconnect:

I can read cd's with this cdrw but it is not recognized as a cd writer. The mount point is /mnt/cdrom1, the dev is /dev/cdrom1. When I mount a cd with the cdrw a new device is shown under mounted devices, it is:
/dev/scd0 with a mount point of /mnt/cdrom1
Oh and more infor if needed:
Under the Info Center --> SCSI section, this is listed:

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If anything is unclear, just let me know,
Thanks,
