OPL3-SA3 trouble with Red Hat 8.0

I formatted my drive completely and then installed Red Hat Linux 8.0. That was about 4 months ago. The problem is, I don't have any sound at all. My sound card is a Yamaha OPL3-SA3, and Linux even recognizes it as my sound card under Hardware Browser, but its also listed under Unknown devices. It looks a little like this

Sound Cards
OPL3-SA3
Manufacturer: Unknown
Driver: ad1848
Device: N/a

I've tried the "Sound Card Detection" program, but no dice.
Red Hat said on their website that http://www.alsa-project.org/ would provide support for OPL3-SA3, but I don't know what files I'm supposed to download. And anyway, I'm hoping someone knows of another way I could fix this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
