I am guessing this is Intel's fake RAID for NVME and that you need use mdadm as posted earlier to setup the drives.

Ditto. Pretty sure that unless you have a fairly expensive NVME 'raid on a card' device, this is fake RAID and runs as such with its Windows-only application. Mount the devices as-is and setup mdadm across them.

Asus said "set up PCIe bifurcation settings before using the NVMe RAID function".
