Novatech 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless LAN PCI Card (Texas Instruments)
I bought this "802.11g Wireless PCI Card" from:
h.t.t.p.s://w.w.w.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NOV-54GPCI
The only downside is that I totally forgot about Linux support. I have tried hard trying to figure out the chipset this card uses but to no avail. There's no indication on the physical card itself or the box packaging or the website as to what chipset it uses. The only clues I got are from Windows Device Manager properties of the card:
Driver Provider: Texas Instruments
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\FwRad16.bin
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\FwRad17.bin
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\TNET1130.sys
Someone please help me get this Wireless PCI card working under linux. I am currently using Mandrake Community 10.1. I see there's this driver called acx100_pci (and it says in brackets for TI PCI cards (TI could mean Texas Instruments?)). But when I chose this driver and auto-probe I don't get any results/luck. Please help!
