No sound in kdetv with pinnacle pctv

I don't get any sound in kdetv from my pinnacle pctv tv-card. I have this installed in Kubuntu Edgy. It used to work without any problems in Dapper.

I have the audio output of the card connected to my sound card (Sound Blaster Live! 5.1). I tried every mixer setting possible in alsamixer and/or kmix but the best thing I get is static. I also connected an mp3 player to the sound card and then I can hear the music just fine. So there shouldn't be anything wrong with the mixer settings, nor with the sound card. Does anyone know what the problem could be.

Perhaps some usefull information:

Success!!!!

Don't ask me why it works, because I don't have a clue...
But I do know thát it works.
Add the following lines to /etc/init.d/rc.local:
Code:
rmmod bt878
rmmod bttv
modprobe bttv
Then make the file executable by doing:
Code:
sudo chmod +x /etc/init.d/rc.local

I dont know why too

Even if you are logged on and execute those commands by hand, you can get the sound!!

Anyone knows why?
