Hello Everyone

Looking for a bit of help or advice Since I updated Ubuntu from 10.04 to 10.11 I seem to have lost connection to a network printer on a windows machine I set it up when I first installed Ubuntu and although I remember finding it relatively easy to do I can't remember how I did it, The printer is still listed but when I try to print to it it says "Unable to connect to cifs" I've tried reinstalling by selecting windows network printers but it does't show up, any help or advice would be appreciated.

I would suggest checking whether the samba service (smdb) is running on the Ubuntu box.

If so, use smbclient to verify that Ubuntu is still seeing the printer the same way.
