No HDMI sound
Hi,
I'm running openSuse 11.2 x64 with KDE 4.3.4 on Lenovo Y550P laptop with Nvidia GeForce 240M video card. HDMI video works properly but with no sound. I unmute IEC958 KMix and tried the same with alsamixer but with no success. Also I can't see any HDMI output device in Yast sound settings and it seems that it should be there. Any advice?
Here are outputs of aplay:
Code:
aplay -l

Just to clarify:
Are you watching HDMI video on the laptop?
If yes, what application are you using? Kaffeine? Mplayer?
Are you watching HDMI video from your laptop via HDMI lead on a TV
or other external display?
