No audio in Debian Etch

Dear Linux Brethren,
The problem relates to sound. My sound card, according to Kinfocenter is Realtek RLC880 (Azalia HD Audio) integrated into ATI SB450. While it works with the latest Kubuntu, there is no sound in Debian Etch. Please, what to do?

Try this:
As root, do:
Code:
alsaconf
If that command is not found, then you need to install some alsa-related packages.

Yes. I ran alsaconf and it seems the sound card has been reconfigured. Now it is ok and I hear sound. Thank you.
