new pci video card causing probs


i just recently got my winmodem w/ pctel chipset working in rh9 and i thought life couldn't get any better. well luck falls upon me and i pick up a nice nvidia geforce 4 pci video card. i install it. rh picks it up fine. then POOF just like that my modem no longer works. ne one have some helpful advice? it would be much appreciated.

nevermind all. i just had to reinstall the modules LOL u never think of the obvious ones. but can anyone tell me why modules i had installed quit working when i installed my new pci video card?
