New Internet Connection

I am new to Linux and I'm not sure in which forum this question should go. I have just installed RedHat 9.0 and it didn't seem to recognize the modem. The modem is an internal U.S. Robotics PCI 56K v.90 Controller Data/Fax Modem.
I created a network account using my ISP info. When I start the Mozilla browser, nothing happens as far as connecting to my account. I guess my question is, what is the complete procedure to set up and connect to a dial-up ISP account.

Well, in Linux you have to dial up to the internet, and then open up mozilla to start browsing. If you are using kde, just open up kppp, and use that to set up your connection, and then dial. Red Hat probably did recognize the modem, but you have to use kppp (or some other internet dialer) so Red Hat knows how to use it.
