Network adapter ndivia not working.


Hi, ive got a buildt in network adapter made by ndivia i think can any1 tell me how to get it going.

Start here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux.html

You want to get the Nforce drivers at the bottom. IA32 is Intel/AMD 32 bit. The other is the 64 bit AMD CPUs. Install that and load the module. There is a how to there as well.

That should get you off to a start.

I don't think that will fix the USB stuff. That is seperate, usually a kernel issue.

damit, ive got a digital camera and i wont a net minidisc player and there usb, ill figure tht out in a seperat tread

I'm not real sure on Slackware. I got the CDs and installed Gentoo. I haven't given it another thought since. Love my Gentoo.

ok i got told dont get gentoo to much hassle, ive got the cd's to but tryed it once and cudnt figure it out so went back to slack

Install is a bit rough. After that, it is pretty easy. I hear they have a new installer thingy coming. That may help a bit.
